DepEd Sarangani orients schoolheads and teachers on Digital ELLN courseware

"We are counting on your commitment, our dear school heads, to improve the learning performance especially of our K-to-3 learners,"

Curriculum Implementation Division Chief Donna S. Panes challenged the school heads who were present during the virtual orientation on the courseware on Early Language, Literacy and Numeracy or Digital ELLN, January 24, to make sure that teachers in the K-to-3 levels should learn the necessary strategies and pedagogies to effectively integrate literacy and numeracy in all learning areas.

"To accomplish this," she said, "the ELLN modules should be discussed in the school learning action cell."

She also explained that the teaching demonstration is not enough to measure the effectiveness of the teachers as distance learning modalities  are currently employed.

She suggests that if the situation permits, teachers should conduct home visitation.

Last week, K-to-3 teachers were also oriented on the Digital ELLN using the same hybrid modality.
